A Visit to the Flea Market

Mother paid me a visit yesterday at lunch time to check on how badly wounded I am from my recent bike accident. It’s always good to be visited by her and receive her care. Glad to know that I am okay, we decided to roam around the flea market and do a thrift hunt with Cheep after lunch. We bought about a thousand of bargained clothing for mother’s adopted children and some for us too. It was a fun bargain hunting. Just when we were to enter the Fish Port where fish, vegetables and crops are sold, I spotted a stall [ ... ]

Easter Sunday With Family

How was your Easter Sunday? Mine went great for I spent it with family. It was a heartwarming bonding. It’s been a long time since we last bond together. For once this year, I was able to gather my family together for a simple outing in a local beach with semi-white sand that is about 15 to 20 minutes drive from my parent’s house. Papa, I and sister Cheem. I had on my hands a tray full of Herring-Sardenilla (or Tamban or we call it Tuloy in our place ) ready for grilling. Fresh and fatty, just yummy! But before rocking [ ... ]

The Wifey Turns 25

The wifey in this little corner, yeah it’s me, turned 25 years old last year, December 22, 2011. Yay, I got a year older huh? I am kind of pressured upon reaching my silver years of occupancy in this world for I think I really haven’t accomplished my goal, which is to finish college and get a stable job. Although I earn at home with my online part-time job, I am still an unstable kitten at 25. Anyway, my little birthday celebration went just fine. I held it simply at my new apartment. Thanks to those who helped, who sponsored and [ ... ]

Away from Home on Christmas Eve

Last year’s Christmas Eve was the loneliest. We’ve never got the chance to celebrate it complete. We actually could have but due to a selfish person who thinks nothing but to take advantage of my good heart, we didn’t able to. My sisters and I who were supposed to drive home at night on my bike didn’t make it to the Christmas Eve. We weren’t able to come home that night for a shallow reason, my bike was borrowed by that selfish person and didn’t return it until 1:00 a.m., after the Christmas Eve.  Such a jerk! We had a clear agreement that [ ... ]

My brother visited us one day. His visit is what our father looks forward to since he’s living with us, his girls. It’s nomal for him to miss his only boy. Brother visits only once or twice a month now that he’s out of school due to financial constraints. I am the one shouldering his studies since I am the only one in the finally who can but I had a bad financial situation currently which forced him to stop. I am working on getting him back to school and I hope he can enroll this coming opening of classes. That’s next [ ... ]

Parents’ Unofficial Separation

My parents have been separated although not legally/officially but they are. If I am not mistaken, they’ve been sleeping in separate rooms, dealing daily living separately even when they were still living under one roof and fighting like cats and dogs for almost four years. Although they have managed to stay casual during important family gatherings, we, the children are still affected by the shattered relationship between the two of them. The once sweet and loving couple is now living like a couple of strangers. It’s just sad that our parents’ have arrived into a situation I’ve never wished them to [ ... ]

Find Babysitters Online

Babysitters make a mother’s duty lighter. Although being a mother is a priceless title that comes with a very rewarding duty, it is still bothersome to mothers who have work outside their homes and there is no other person in the family to call out to watch the kids. It is the same with the new mothers who are yet to learn motherhood and need assistance from babysitters. It is best to seek help from babysitters when it’s needed. You can find one now online!
