Unit-House Remodelling

I am feeling nostalgic today after listening to an old song that I used to listen to with my husband. I don’t want to name the song and I do hope you won’t bother asking…:) Old memories then came rushing in my head back to the day when I started living my life as a wife. Gosh, it was way different from being single but I did manage to adapt the new pace of life at the early age.

Memories brought me to the days my unit was remodeled. My husband bought me this unit about a month after our wedding as a wedding gift. It was not our plan to buy a house in the city but we had no choice but to buy because I was still attending college at that time and renting an apartment was more costly. So we settled in getting this unit. We moved in on the last week of June 2008 and had it remodeled on November of the same year hoping to celebrate our first Christmas together in our newly remodeled home.

It is just a small piece of property inside Orchid Villas subdivision in Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City containing a total land area of 60 square meters. We bought it with 2 small bedrooms and an average size of master’s bedroom. It has 2 bathrooms; one upstairs and one downstairs. When we bought this unit, it has no terrace. Few months after we added extension to it and in that way we got a covered garage. We as well had the windows changed into glass bay windows and combined the two small bedroom into into one. So, it now has two bedrooms. I am listing this house for sale if ever you are interested….seriously.

Not sure what you are planning on remodeling, but can give a little advice for the kitchen. Several years ago, we wanted to redo our kitchen cabinets and counters. Rather than purchasing new cabinets, we refaced and reframed our cabinets.
